How to Renew Your Web Hosting Plan
Keep your website online by renewing your hosting before it is due. This guide shows how to find your due date, pay your renewal invoice and confirm your service is…

Web hosting is the service that stores your website files, databases and often your email accounts, and delivers them to visitors. Hosting plans are billed for a set period, such as monthly, quarterly or yearly. When a renewal invoice is not paid on time, the account can be suspended and your website goes offline.
Here is how to renew your hosting without interruption.
Step 1: Check your next due date
Log in to the Salama Hosting Client Area and open Services. Each hosting plan lists its billing cycle, amount and next due date.
Step 2: Find the renewal invoice
Renewal invoices are usually generated a period of time before the due date and emailed to your account address. You can also view them under Billing → Invoices in the Client Area. Unpaid invoices are clearly marked.
Step 3: Pay the invoice
- Open the unpaid invoice.
- Check the service, billing period and amount.
- Choose a payment method and complete payment.
- Keep your payment reference or receipt.

Step 4: Confirm the service is active
After payment is processed, the invoice status changes to paid and the next due date moves forward. If your account had been suspended, it is normally reactivated after payment. Visit your website to confirm it is loading.
Choosing the right billing cycle
When you renew, consider whether a longer billing cycle suits you better:
- Monthly: smaller payments, but more frequent invoices to manage.
- Yearly: fewer renewals to remember and less risk of accidental suspension.
Check the pricing in your Client Area or contact support to compare options for your plan.
Renewal is a good time to review your plan
Before renewing, ask yourself:
- Is my website running slowly or hitting resource limits?
- Am I close to my storage or email account limits?
- Has my traffic grown significantly?
- Do I need features such as more websites, databases or email accounts?
If so, an upgrade might be worthwhile. Growing sites may eventually benefit from VPS hosting.
Tips to avoid missed renewals
- Keep your account email address up to date.
- Add a second contact for billing notifications.
- Set calendar reminders a week before each due date.
- Renew your domain and hosting around the same time so they are easier to track.
